Founded in 1982, it is one of the earliest professional theaters in China to explore small theater performances, and was successfully selected as one of the first batch of Jiangsu Province Model Small Theaters.

The theater underwent three rounds of stage equipment and seating upgrades in 1999, 2011, and 2018. The fourth upgrade was launched in 2023. This renovation uses the RGB network hybrid dimming cabinet 7i series for the stage lighting control system, featuring 288 control circuits for the silicon-controlled dimming/relay direct hybrid dual-use unit drawer module, as well as a decoding system compatible with sACN, ART-Net, and RGB-Net stage lighting network protocols. and a stage lighting signal amplification system, providing high-standard dimming network control for Jiangnan Theater's professional performances, meeting various professional theatrical performance needs.

The CP6108 lighting control panel is a lighting control device for theater stage lights, work lights, environmental lighting, commercial art lighting, sports venue lighting, and other places.
